Becky Clifton

My name is Becky Clifton, I am a plein air artist who loves to paint landscapes in oils. I enjoy being outdoors in nature where I am inspired by its endless beauty and variety. I gained my Art Degree at Falmouth College of Arts which included a term at L’Accademia di Belle Arti, Venice. I was very much inspired by the changing lights and colours of living by the sea. Now, whenever possible, I’ll pack up my paint boxes and venture out to new places.  When I have found a scene I want to capture, I’ll sit down for a couple of hours to paint. For me, painting captures the memory of the sights, sounds and the feeling of being in that place.
